R096 Antique Marble Square Wellhead with portal

Original ancient marble well with portal consisting of 2 columns and frieze.

This well comes from a villa in the Venice area. On the front the well bears a hand-carved emblem.

In the city of Venice there are innumerable wells of this type, arranged in private squares and gardens.

Excellent condition.
