001 - Hand Carved Canova vigilant Lion

This Canova vigilant lion is a reproduction of one of the two original crouching lions created by the Italian artist, Antonio Canova (1757-1822), in 1792 for the Monumental tomb of the Pope Clemente XIII.

Material: White Vicenza Stone
Finishing: Grey soft finishing patina
Dimensions: W. 52” x H. 23 ½”
