Details: A nude Venere statue whose subject has Greek origin, reworked then in Roman times in this original style. Actually there are very different type of Venus subjects in the classical art. The most important Venere is the paintdd "Nascita di Venere" of Botticelli. There are no so many historical facts about the origin of Venus statues, but another important sculptor is the "Venere of Milo". The sculpture is carved with a round scandalized base.
